focus scratches and bumps

Now that the focus has been out for a while, how many of you have scratches and bumps on the bodywork.

Personally, the right front bumper has a scrap on it near the fog lights, caused by some idiot cutting the corner too tight pulling out after being parked beside me. I also have a 6 inch scratch on the passenger door panel from someone opening their door too hard beside me. Its been touched up but still very visible, especially when the car is clear and the sun is shining.

Ill try and post some pictures later. Broke my heart when i saw those scratches! Just curious to what sort of damage other focus owners have on their cars.

I have a pin head size paint chip in the hood down to the primer on a yellow car, sticks out like a sore thumb. That's the only spot I've noticed in 9K miles and 14 months of ownership.

It's heartbreaking eh! especially when you see how gorgeous the car looks all clean. Are you thinking of getting it repainted?

I have only noticed a small paint chip on the hood of my red Ti HB, which I is one year old on Friday. Also very noticeable. Will probably find more when I do a thorough spring cleaning/waxing.

I might do a touch up on it when the weather breaks. I'd hate to spend the money to have the hood reshot just for this tiny paint chip. What makes it so bad is ford used a dark gray primer under the bright yellow paint.

I did the touch up paint route too. but the color Ford gave me still sticks out a lot. Ill try and take a picture of it at lunch today. Id almost not even bother with the touch up, made it look worst.

I have what looks like a scratch from a coat about 3 inches long on the passengers door - drivers side. Grills me every time I look at it.

Tiny tiny chip in the windscreen from a stone that hit while traveling from Detroit to Chicago a few weeks ago.

Quite a few stone chips on the hood and one on the roof right smack dab center where the glass meets the roof. I drive 95% highway every day 32 miles one way to work and I tend to follow too close to cars/ semi's infront of me so I pay for it with rock chips :/ just flipped 25k 12 month of ownership

I have a few chips, cracked paint on my front bumper (my bad, adds character), and a scratch on the black between the driver's side windows that I have no idea how it got there. Don't let people wear chain wallets in your car because it will beat the shit out of the plastic on the side of the seat.

i have small chips on the hood. light scratches on the back that my father put there. ....:/ and new scratches on the hood from my DAMN CAT slidding down my car trying to grip the paint. i dont usually park by people. i always park far away and take up 2 spots (only if there is plenty of spots closer to the location people can park at)
