Thumbs up Ford Racing SVT suspension kit

I installed this kit this weekend on my 02 ZX3, the handling difference over stock was HUGE, definitely worth $250. Replaces F&R springs, R sway bar, F&R dampners and bushings.

No more excess dive on braking.
No more wheel hop on acceleration.
Eliminated tire squeal on cornering at usual speeds.
Dampening is now perfect for the car, not boat-like as stock.
Ride is still quiet, but steering is much more responsive and there is a much better road feel and sense of control. Basically, it nows feels like a euro Focus.

Some notes:

The drop is eventually 0.75", and the car needed 4 wheel alignment. You can't just add the kit without re-aligning.

I find myself now driving much faster, which may be a problem.

I highly recommend this kit.

The kit does NOT include a front Sway bar because they are the same size as the standard ZETEC. The kit is very well put together and is a nice handling kit for the money.

I am having mine installed tomorrow, along with the Energy Suspension Polyurethane Bushing Kit. I can't wait to test it out.

Whoops..no front sway.

It works well as a package, it was designed as a package. Very satisfied.

Good to hear... I bought that kit two weeks ago but I'll go through the winter with my stock suspension before installing it. It's good to know what the difference will be.

Allong with the front strut brace, nice mod, you might eventually want to look into getting the Eibach anti roll kit and some Poly Bushings. Makes a difference
