Best of luck in finding a dealership to properly address it.

I have the same issue. Dig through THIS thread and you'll see others with the same issue, including myself.

I actually just noticed the same noise this evening. I don't think anything is wrong, just a weird noise. I'm going to keep an eye (or ear rather) on it and see if it gets worse or goes away.

Hey allyy,

I believe I've requested your info on another thread in order for me to escalate your concern to the Customer Service Manager. If you've not seen it, send me a PM with the VIN, current mileage, personal and dealer contact to begin the process.

wgilles,

The offer is extended to you as well if the noise increases and/or begins to annoy you. . Just need a PM with the VIN, current mileage, as well as your personal and dealer contact info.

Thanks,

Noemi

Thanks Noemi! On my drive to work this morning I didn't notice it at all. It seems to only be when I have the car loaded with people so it might just be the car "settling" or something. I'll def let you know if it gets worse. Thanks again, you rock!!

@ FordCustomer Service

Wouldn't it be more beneficial if you could look up your database and share with us how people got this resolved, rather than us having to depend on our dealers level of knowledge and willingness to repair this issue? It appears that most people that had this resolved had to go to multiple dealers until they finally found a dealer that was willing to work with the customer and also invest some of their time to get Ford Mo Co to pay for the repair. Both dealers I have dealt with would call the Ford Hotline and they would get the same response that this is normal.

rather than continue to treat this on a case by case basis, it would make sense for something that is re-occurring like this, to create a TSB for it.

In defense of Noemi, I see nothing wrong with her helping us out on a case by case basis. Not every person has the same problem and it helps to have an inside voice to help get this resolved. I also highly doubt there are a lot of other car manufactures that have people like Noemi that try to help people out.

I also might be wrong on this, but I would assume you need a certain number of cases from customers to create a TSB?

Taken from another thread. I don't blame Noemi, but I would temper expectations as to what she/they can actually do. All the really do is liaison between us and the dealer, but really have no say/influence over the work to be performed. They are more of a concierge service.

Hi Plymouth,

Welcome to the forum. If you look around this place you'll notice many threads about transmission problems and several hundreds of posts with stories similar to yours. You'll probably get a message from Noemi or some other Ford online rep asking for your VIN and some personnal info. It's your choice to give the info or not but you won't get anything more from them that what you got at the dealership. They will tell you that it's normal and engineers at Ford are working hard to correct all problems. They will also tell you they understand your frustration and some other BS.I don't want to scare you ,but some have waited months to get their car fixed and are still not satisfied. If you want some friendly advice,if your car start to work decently ,try to get rid of it while you can.

Good luck to you.

is it a whistling noise that you're talking about? b/c that is coming from my right side too. What's causing it is the rear-view mirror housing. I mentioned it to my dealer once, but he didn't seem to responsive to that request. I might have to force the issue with them again, but I've given up on them b/c after replacing my steering gear, they realigned my stuff two times and still haven't gotten the steering wheel straight.
