Cars equipped with HID's from the factory will not plug and play the non HID lights. Those are non HID. You have the best lights you can get for a focus now, I wouldn't down grade to those. DEPO make a Mach a like that is identical to the Machs just depo brand instead of Hella. I'd try to find one of those or fix the lens like I mentioned earlier.

How bad is are the scratches? You can simply restore the lens you have as long as nothing is cracked.

I would try wetsanding the scratches out before dropping money on a new housing. If the scratches are deep start with 180 grit and progressively work your way up to 2000 grit then polish the wetsanding marks out with either a headlight restoration kit or a DA polisher (porter 7424, etc). Both the restoration kits and wetsanding sandpaper packs can be had at local auto parts stores or even walmart. You'll probably have ~$25 dollars in supplies to try the wetsanding approach vs. $100+ for a new housing.

Here are the two Depo branded Mach HID replacements on Amazon for ~$130 each:
Drivers side
Passenger side

If you do get a new housing I would be very interested in buying the weather stripping off your old housing if its still in decent condition.

If I can remember when I get home I can post pics of the light I did. It was like sand paper it was so bad. I wet sanded it using progressively finer paper till 1500 and 2000 grit then it hit it with the polishing kit. Came out looking like brand new. Depending on how bad the scratches are will depend on how much sanding and how rough of a grit I'd start out with. No need to spend money on a new light or buying and having to rewire a whole new set of lights.
