Unhappy Help with trouble code P2004 intake manifold control stuck open on a ford focus 2003

Hi I got the check engine light on with trouble code p2004 what can I do about this? Where is the intake manifold control located can someone point it out Thank you.

The intake manifold is that big black plastic thing on the front of the engine, between the two yellow dipstick handles.

You may be in over your head in trying to troubleshoot and repair the variable runner flap mechanism.

I just had the same thing.

My 06 ST had the engine light starting coming on about 3 weeks ago. My mechanic re-set the light but it kept coming back on. Long story short new intake manifold, coil, 1 plug and a computer update and I'm as good as new. Total cost was like $1000.00.
