Huh... usually my mileage is crappiest when going from west to east TN. I get much better economy when coming back probably due to the overall elevation change.

Thank You! There should be a something that shows who moved it, that way people can see who moved their thread and so other Mods can see who is inappropriately moving threads. There are alot of MK3 threads in the "Ford Focus & General Focus Forum"

We have just been trying to move things into the proper area to clean up this section. The MK3 forum is by far the busiest area on ff.com and some items are moved for ease of future searching. IDK who or why this was moved as it really shouldn't have been. All the Mods have been working together to establish better guidelines for moving threads and possible re-structuring for things to make more sense. It may be a bit painful right now but in the end all we are trying to do is improve the site.

I got 41 MPG today on the Florida Turnpike doing a 45 mile one way trip, basically flat and straight with the cruise set at 65MPH. I only have around 700 miles on the odometer, so I am expecting better mileage down the road but I am pleased to be getting the EPA ratings at least.

Yeah, if you can follow closely enough you can get 20% or more mpg behind a big-rig. I moved the contents of a storage unit from NY to UT last year and driving at 65mph in the truck I'd get about 9.5mpg, but when I drove a tanks worth behind big-rigs the mileage increased to about 11.5mpg.

Years ago a guy on a bicycle set a new land speed record by drafting a truck, as I recall the speed was about 130mph (sick).
