Thanks "dyn085" that was a heck of a compliment. I must admit though that the entire build is not only me. I have a couple of friends/coworkers that have been helping me with this build. We still have a whole lot of work to do before the build is complete especially because we might be changing the amp rack. Kinda thinks it looks a little generic right now.

So hopefully my stereo should be completed soon. I will post some more pictures when we have done more work. On a side note I registered for Focus Rising at Carlisle this year. So my stereo will definitely be done by then, hopefully some of you guys will be able to check it out in person.

So here are some pictures of the crossover rack being built. We built the bracing a couple of weeks ago and started wrapping it in fleece. The pictures show the process of making the initial bracing, housing and fleece work. We should be able to start the fiberglassing work this week because after test fitting it works perfectly. We also have to rebuild the floor because I decided to do a last minute amplifier change. If you notice the top amp now is much larger then the bottom amp. I decided to double the power to my front speakers by using the Mosconi 200.4 amplifier. Right now my front speakers have 800 watts of power on them instead of 400 watts. Here are the pictures.

My car is using the stock alternator, there is a 15 farad cap tucked away in the rear panel. Wiring is mainly all stinger products. I don't really have any light diming problems at all. Mainly because the amplifiers are very efficient. Plus since I am over powering the system I have given myself a bunch of headroom. The gains on the amplifiers don't need to be turned up that much to play well. Also the system is designed for sound quality and imaging instead of playing bass really loud (don't get me wrong this thing can get pretty stupid loud if I want it to).

Here is the continuation of the crossover section. The first picture shows the crossover housing, you can also see the Morel crossovers with the led strips attached to them. The second photo is a close-up view of the box that the crossovers will be resting in. We did a plexi inlay with silver paint to match the subwoofer ring we built. The plexi will help with reflecting the lights. The rest of the photos show what the housing looks like mounted in the car with the lights activated.

Since both sides of the trunk are just about complete the only thing left is the floor.
