has anybody tried the carbon fiber hood and or hatch door w/ or w/o plexiglass?
Something that has crossed my mind for weight reduction.

They are with a 5spd. Motorweek ran 8.1 0-60mph in an SES coupe 5spd, I'd imagine an SE or S would do even better since they have lighter wheels.

Did you ever run your car at a track ? My friend ran a low 15 with his when it was stock.

It's pretty rare to see an ITR run mid 14's. I remember watching my friend's ITR get walked by new Civic SI's and they were a high 14 on a very good day. I'm not saying an ITR can't run mid 14's, but it sure isn't the average. A 2,700lb car with 160whp isn't anything thrilling.

Or your signature if you wanna be a real smart ass. But I was making light of your crappy time, looks like you suck at the 2-3 shift according to your chart.

Idk about "crappy" time... if professional magazine test driver can get 8.1 seconds out of this car on a test track then I think I did pretty good with 8.6 seconds on some country road.

That's my opinion though.

Rough estimate on a 0-60 in 8.6 is about a 16.5. It does seem a touch slow but nothing off the radar.

Oh come on, it was much faster than 16.5...

It's been funny to me though... When I first got my Mustang V6 Auto 9 years ago, it ran very close to the exact same time. After mods and tune I only had it down to 15.5 lol.

impossible. You need more cold air intakes.

I ran my Type R up here at 5800ft in the 1/4 and hit a 15.9 (corrected would be a high 14) and a friend with an identical car hit a 15.89 and down in Houston I turned a 14.78 but it wasn't that thrilling but once the roads got twistie that's where the Integra was a joy to drive with no electronic nannies, grippy brakes and a 8500redline made up for it's 1/4 mile blahs. The JRSC helped boost it's whp to a more respectable 210 coupled with it's 2550lb curb weight was quite fun.
