Yikes, maybe go to a junk yard and find one and measure it or buy it. Without the proper size housing it will never work right unless you have a tuner tune it to run with that one which would be way more expensive than just getting the right sized one.

That brand name sounds familiar from quite a while ago, may well have been one of the inexpensive ones that had the wrong diameter tube in the MAF area....

yep, the spectra ones were junk and didn't work on the duratec. It allows too much airflow past the maf which cant be compensated for, and the car leans out and dies.
go to the junkyard and get at least the maf tube and then put a filter on the end of it if you want to be cheap. or just pull the whole air cleaner assembly and stick it in place.

I will say, good luck finding a duratec tube at a junkyard. I have never seen a 2.0 or 2.3 duratec in the any junkyard. But that could just be my luck.... however, I bet there's a member willing to part with their old tube. just use the cone from your kit if you still want to.

I would start by browsing the BST section of the forum and even make a want to buy (WTB) thread for your intake tube. people are usually pretty good at having stuff you wouldn't expect.

And amazingly I didn't notice your spelling lol. I just seriously wasn't sure if it was spectra or spectre. Spectre is a brand that oreillys has for intakes etc, but there is also a company called Spectra that makes cooling components.
