Before i got the new maf i had cleaned the old one with maf cleaner and got the jell stuff for the connectors it still didn't work u think it could be other sensors. Had it hooked to diagnostics and it said maf because wasn't plugged in and left bank stuck open someone told me its because the original air box isent there

When you say you bought a new CIA intake and put the MAF in it, was the diameter of the housing the same as the factory MAF housing? Also is it oriented in the right direction? They won't work right if they are in backwards.

If the MAF housing (the tube the MAF fits into) is bigger than the original then it won't run right.
