This is the kind of stuff that I wish all turbo builds consisted of. I can't get enough of this type of project, looking forward to additional posts.

Thanks, I hope everyone enjoys watching this project. I am certainly not done and will keep posting in the future.

I would like to comment a little about where my inspiration comes from. I hang around the car scene locally (car meets/shows/get togethers/etc.) and I have a lot of friends with highly modified cars. There is not many foci around here and it is hard to get any respect to begin with, but when you pop the hood and there is no "Wow Factor" then you dont get any respect at all. With the rear exhaust engines in the newer cars, Foci, Honda, VW's, it just is not very impressive looking with the turbo hidden behind the engine. I believe this is one reason why the older front exhaust engines are still so popular, because they have a lot of "Wow Factor" when you add a turbo.

So the "Wow Factor" was probably my number 1 goal. Next, I like to build something no one else has. I also like to find efficiencies that no one else has. The older I get, the less interested I am in chasing horsepower. What really impresses me is someone who's car is faster with less boost than everyone else. A lot of people around here like to brag about how much boost they are making, I brag about how much boost I am not making and can still keep up with them! That is what inspires me the most.

Yeah, the fuse box was the worst part of the whole project for me.
