is that light on your focus ?? thats a symbol ford uses on there diesels show the glow plugs preheating when you start it. could be a foreign gauge other countries get a diesel option ,also mine doesn't have the yellow light indicator below gas pump optional rear lights U.S. doesn't get to have from Ford

We don't have the diesel version in the US, but that is definitely a glow plug indicator. I have seen the logo in my cluster, along with other features my SE doesn't have. The one lit up in orange on the bottom right is the indicator for a rear fog light, which we don't get here in the 'states. Based on this, I believe the faces are all printed the same, but the lighting/electronics behind the faces differ model-to-model.

Thanks for all the information. So that means it is useless in my car? just taking up space lol. im in the united states. so it says nothing about it in my manual. seems weird that we would have lights that arent really used looks like it would cost more for them to make it like that.

I can see tons of symbols on my cluster when the sun hits it just right so they are multi purpose.I assume becuse LED's are dirt cheap they are all in there as well just programmed for different regions.Probably a software thing or the wrong board got installed.

It's generally cheaper to keep something like that in when you're making a million tachometers a year, rather than engineer a different faceplate and wiring harness for gasoline tachs, then requiring that plants that build gasoline and diesel models always get the right part in the right car.
