the header will throw a code because it deletes the downstream O2 sensor that monitors the catalytic converter. You would need a tune to disable that sensor to stop the CEL.

And in certain states it will not pass emissions by itself. If that it is a concern to pass emissions, you will need to add a high flow cat. anything less would defeat the purpose of the header.

what is the earliest you might be able to get into the birmingham area? the guy i have building my car right now MIGHT be willing to put the cash in your hand and hold the wheels for me until i come to pick the car up if you can bring them to his house.

the f2 header shouldn't throw and engine code, as it has provision for all 3 O2 sensors, but the fswerks one might.... I havnt used the fswerks one.

although if you have a PVEZ d20 it will throw a code for the secondary air injection system since it cannot be connected.

Either way, you will need a tune. Even if all o2 sensors are retained, the computer will see unusual readings out of the downstream (after the cat) sensor and throw a code.
