I would be interested in what muffler was used and a ballpark dollar figure to expect from a shop...

The muffler used is a 15inch flow master single inlet to two outlets (I have no video the part number) and total it cost me 370 for everything.

Not bad, if u like it then thats what matters...

I would paint everything from the tips back in black, hiding the tangled mess of crushed piping. Also, i would of dremeled opening in the bumper lip, squeezing the tips through it for a cleaner look. But thats just me

I originally wanted to have the bumper cut, but the price was absolutely atrocious and I plan on painting from the tips back black.

The only right way to do dual exhaust is the way he has it on his car. Dual exhaust is the term used for the 2 tips coming out the back. Tru-dual exhaust systems on car without x-pipe or H-pipe is killing power I have seen upwards of 20whp loss from a tru-dual on a c5 corvette. 4 cylinders cant never have close to a dual setup you are referring to. Weight/price and horsepower loss would be ridiculous.

The way he has it is fine. Wish he cut the slots and put them up more though.

My dual setup is a 3" catback with dual exit and cost a little under 700 to make. His price is pretty much spot on.

Planning on a very similar set-up on my car. I would like the ST muffler with thr center outlet but every online search I've done results in full cat-back systems in the $700 range (sorry)

I've already ordered a pair of oval angle-cut rolled edge tips, so once those arrive I'll head out to the muffler shop.

I cant watch the youtube video while here at work (firewalls) but will definitely check it out when I get back home.

The intake sound on this car already has a wonderful sound under hard throttle so I really dont think much more sound out back is needed...certainly not for daily driver.
