Oh, wow, Bangkok. I didn't notice before. Yes, here they will charge you for labor on any install, even OEM parts. That's why we call them stealerships instead of dealerships.

I bought a pair like that from Echomaster, here were the instructions I followed, http://www.echomaster.com/images/restyling_article.pdf
One word of advice do not cut wire 14 on the passenger side at all (step 10). This cuts the wire for the parking light. I found that out after and had to reconnect it

I saw these on Ebay but I wonder about the quality and the instructions? I do like the look of them though and they come in piano black from another vendor I found.

Had a thread about these here: http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/showthread.php?t=302737

I have the glossy Echomaster ones, and they look like nice original factory equipment, not some cheap ricer addon. They are pretty easy to install (the biggest pain was getting the original grille pieces off) and do require a single wire tap.

However, you can choose to not do that and still have fully functioning DRLs. The tap just reduces the light output 50% when the headlights are on, so without it you'll get 100% output with your headlights on or off.

Mine pretty much went the same way. I didn't do the wire tap as it only dims the lights and I just wanted to have them full brightness. Mine were gloss too and I think they look good... Not pepboys like at all.

Hey! I resemble that remark!
Where do you get new aftermarket stuff installed completely free of charge unless you do it yourself?! Tools & training are sooooo expensive; you gotta pay it back somehow (and then the light bill to keep it all open, blah blah blah yakity smackity)...

Thanks to all for the pictures!

Is the 50% dim override legal? Also can you wire them to act like cornering lights when you use the turn signals?

I am still not sure which ones I prefer, the horizontal or the ladder style?
