Steeda's Ford Racing Intermittent Wiper Switch

One thing I can't say I like about my focus is the "intermittent wipers" There's only one setting, and it's usually too slow for how much rain is coming down, but the always on setting (the next availble one) is too fast, and steeda offers this switch:

Here's what it says about it:

Add 6-position intermittent winshield wipers to your Focus in less than 10 minutes! Easily installed with a small screwdriver. Simply replace your existing switch with ours.

And it's like 24 bucks. Has anyone bought it and can give me some impressions?

It is an OEM Ford part and that is the one used on the models with wiper delay. The ford emblem is even stamped on it if you look close enough. Should work just fine.

Easy install, so simple.

And it's amazingly convenient, I love mine compared to the "3 speed" version mine came with originally.

Be sure to get the one with rear wiper function since you have a hatch... there's also a sedan version that won't work for you since it won't have that.

Yeah, I was just about to say, I need the one with the rear wiper... I love my rear wiper.

Sometimes I wish it had interval delays on the hatch wiper...some days when it's wet and a bit muddy I end up manually wiping back there a fair bit.

It's definately nice up front though.

The rear wiper will stay on without having to manually turn it on and off. It doesn't have multiple speeds but if I pull mine back one notch it will wipe every few seconds until I push it forward again... pulling it back 2 notches causes it to wipe and spray washer fluid too.

I think he's talking about an adjustable rear wiper like the fronts so you can adjust the time between the passes. Yeah I wish they had it more adjustable also, the manual (pull the lever) way is about all I do.
