Squeaks in new cars suspension?

Hey everyone.

I was curious if it was normal for there to be squeaking in new cars? I'm hearing a squeak coming from somewhere in the front of my car. I can't tell if it is inside the dash or somewhere in the suspension. I hear it a lot when slowing the car down to a stop also. It's a quick high pitch squeak sound (like a cricket). It's not the "jumping on the mattress" sound. I can't hear it if I have the radio on, but is annoying if the radio is off. It didn't do this until recently (1700 miles on the car now). Is it normal for there to be some squeaks as the car breaks in, then possibly go away? I have an appointment scheduled on Thursday for the dealership to check it out, but we all know how that goes, so wanted your opinions.

Well Ford mechanics just create new issues all the time. They will buy my car back soon if not fixed. Then I'll get the 2013 fusion hybrid titanium, which I'm sure wont give me any problems.
