Some people don't always want to ship them though. It's not that bad. I shipped a 24lb box for alot cheaper than you'd think.

Roof racks can get very expensive to buy new. After you get a rack, you'll need a bike tray. I priced out a bike tray on the rocky mounts website and it came to about $135. Good thing I got 2 bike trays used, but I had to get 2 new locking a scewers for $35 each. A Thule fairing by itself can cost about $75. I also found an eBay seller who sells complete bike trays new for $60. Oh and I haven't even gotten to the rack yet lol. Find a used rack preferably complete, kona, Thule, Yakima - it doesn't matter they are all the same and will provide what you need. Only difference is the Kona is made for hatches and it looks the best.

I haven't gotten around to getting seeing/getting the roof rack I have to fit the focus that was on my Contour.

This ended up being a combination of Thule and Yakima. I had a full Thule setup for the tempo I had, but they never made a fit kit for the Contour. So I picked up a Yakima setup for the Contour and used the Thule bike trays I already had.
