Considering buying this SVT...

Hey guys, so ive been looking around for a decent SVT for awhile now. But I wont settle for anything but an Euro package one. So I came across this: http://nh.craigslist.org/cto/3634522725.html

Ive been talking to the guy, he said he will go as low as 4800. It still have the original clutch, and has no major work done to it. It is rust free, always garaged. What should I look for? Opinions on it?

Thanks guys!

As I'm sure you know by now, if you have searched here and/or on FJ, the timing belt, tensioners, etc. is the primary concern for any SVT that hasn't had at least one replaced. Other expected issues are the thermostat housing, the clutch master cylinder, and issues with the IMRC.
Read these threads if you haven't already done so.

All that said, $4800 is a pretty good price for an '04 Euro SVT, assuming that the basics, like tires, brakes, suspension, etc have been looked after on a regular basis. Good luck.

And see how big that crack is in the bumper because unlike what he stated bumpers for that car aren't cheap and are getting harder and harder to find which drives the price up
