Just like everyone else I leave mine in as well... Actually in the year I've had the car it's never been out. It was missing one of the connecting pieces in the back so with the back windows down it flaps around sometimes.

I wonder how the subwoofer back there would sound if I took it out.

See I was a little mixed too. My windows are tinted and so far in the night and in my condo garage you can't see anything unless you're looking really really hard then you can kinda tell there's skates and a longboard in there.

I like the idea of it because it's so much easier to throw stuff in. I actually haven't really found much of a noise difference when driving (only did city tonight though, on my way to work tomorrow ill see about highway). I think if my tinted windows block enough visibility in the day then im sold on keeping it off for good.

Actually, someone brought up the idea of the blinds type of cover. My buddys '12 STI hatchback has the blinds type and i'm pretty envious of it. I'm sure in time there'll be an aftermarket one for the focus...hopefully...

I always have mine in but I did take my rear headrests out so I can see out of the back better.

I guess I'm in the minority, I took mine out a year ago and haven't put it back in. I rarely ever have to transport anything in my trunk anyway and I figured it would allow for more sound from the sub.

Dark tint usually hides stuff quite well in the back especially at night.

The cover in my 4Runner is the rollout style which I like since it's easy to remove and store.

I just leave it, noise reasons.

my interior is dark gray. I have always left mine in because it't so easy to take out. I have a garage, so I can store it temporarily with no inconvenience. Another plus, I cover it with a dark gray towel, and this protects against it and the carpet from bleaching out in the son.

Generally, 90% of what I haul can fit under the cover.

I leave mine. Partly because I like the way it looks better with it than without. It does help with the noise level. About the only time I take it out is if I'm hauling something bigger, or if my German Shepherd is in the back.

I keep mine in now since I have a sub woofer. I had it off for sometimes but then people always asked why I had an extra coat in the car ect. It got very annoying. lmao

Several people keep mentioning the shade idea and I've been trying to keep things quiet, but I'm working on a few prototypes for this kind of idea.

I'll post some pictures up when things are more finished... I should work on it a lot more as the weather warms up and I actually feel like spending time outside with the car!
