Rat 1, me 0 or rat $51 and me looking for payback

A rat assulted my 2013 Focus and I was going to post a photo to show the damage but I don't understand how to do it. I read the sticky but I'm still unsure. I have a online photo site at Pbase can I linkfrom there. Thanks Terry.

I hope this works, I was checking my oil and I saw this.

It's the hose out of the air intake box. I thought I must have missed it and it had came from the factory like that. I took it to the dealer and they said it was a probably a rat and after looking at th photo I think they were right. $51 to replace, that rat owes me.

Good luck catching the rat. They're pretty smart and have a keen sense of hearing and smell. One got into the basement of my house a couple years ago and it took a couple of months to finally nail him.

The final victory was caught on camera, I called it Rat Cam. I have a video surveillance system on my property and added a couple cameras to the basement next to the traps. Watching his neck snap was awesome.

The little bastard did a lot of damage though.

Ouch that rat did some damage. I know the feeling I had to hunt down a rat that was in my garage; luckily I found him dead 3 days later in a corner where layed 2 very large crank shafts and a very heavy v8 block along with a few heads and other assorted engine parts. It was a joyful hour of moving stuff just to be able to remove its body. The smell is unbearable by the way so you will know if it has died.

I could also have been a squirrel. One morning I noticed a squirrel sitting on my plastic city garbage container, the kind they hook to the back of the truck and flip up. A few days later I saw that the little bastard had chewed a 2" by 1/2" wide hole through 1/4" of hard plastic and had started chewing up the edges of the lid. They must like it for nests, because I'm pretty sure it's not digestible, but I haven't tried eating any.

Since we're all telling stories lol, I went camping for one night, and about a week later I went to change my cabin filter and found out mice had nested into that void there. Fun stuff, smells great when you turn the air on!
