Only snow we get around here is man made....nothing else every accumulates long enough to be useful.

I peeled the rack off last night (took all of 3 minutes), car looks naked (and sounds silent) this morning.

*edit/follow up*

Car was iced over this morning, so the sunroof remained closed. Drove to class this evening, as well as around on a few errands before hand......WOW, it is so nice to have the full sunroof opening back. Nice and quiet with no view obstructing bars.....SO nice!

Just bought mine used, only had to drive 460 kms :P Paid 200 for the bindings and the rack itself. Canadian tire had the cargo bag for sale for $56 with tax, and $44 worth of gas :) I hope the bag fits, seems bigger than I imagined. Dark as hell, but I wanted to share. Nice decorating, very good idea!

Hi guys first post, I've been looking round the forum and there's a wealth of info, but just a small rant and that is to say the new focus is a global car it seems a far cry from been exactly that.

I've had my ST for a little under 6 months now and I got the roof rack free with the car, I haggled hard! Love the car but I love Enduro mountain biking just that little bit more, so I needed the rack and got them to throw in the roof bars and Thule cycle rack.

Couple of pics of the car

Hope you like

Cheers
Darren

WOW I really like the look of the OEM rack. Didn't even know that existed. Looks very streamline and aerodynamic. Jealous of the roof rack and the ST haha

Thanks for the compliment, once I find the invoice that the dealer left in the packaging I'll post the part number up, it may well be a part your dealer can get hold of??

That looks 200% better than the Yakima setup. The Thule setup is similar but the Thule towers are not even close to those.

I too would be interested in the part numbers!

Well I already have a Yakima one that I love, but I bet other people would love to know it and consider it as an option in choosing a roof rack.
