Grocery-getter status or not, I think this poll has clearly revealed there's demand for a tuner for our car, sample-size notwithstanding.

Just posted on SCT's facebook page, and their reply was that it is in the works, but that there are a lot of pcm's and they want to make sure they cover them before a release. That sounds to me like they will be releasing it.......right?

From your lips to God's ear, if I may make bold to wax theological here.

Since they keep saying different things its doubtful that this is true until proven otherwise.

Its been over two full years since the first 2012s rolled off the assembly line (Back in 2011), and they've been extremely evasive the entire time. Sometimes they said that they didn't feel there was demand so they weren't working on it at all. Other times they said they had been looking at it, but it's only in the pipe line, other times they reverse their stance and complain about it being too difficult.

They won't give a straight answer and that is the frustrating part. Its either yes we are working on it, or no we won't work on it, but they love to walk in the shadows.

They certainly didn't have any problem cracking the same bosch di-motronic PCM for the ST within a month of its release which was some 18 months since the first MK3s were sold here.

Basically they say whatever suits them at the present time.

So perhaps my request for divine intervention is appropriate.

I would also do a tune if it improved the way the car shifts/drives and possibly get rid of the whole low speed shudder/hesitation thing. The shifting is definately hard to get used to for a while.
When I got the car it shifted different then when I got the "computer update". After the computer update it shifts a little bit less (it revs higher).

I hate to say it but this is pretty true from my point of view... Although every time I see a conversation like the one that papaacer just had with them on Facebook I get a little excited but I'm afraid to get my hopes up and get too excited until I can actually press the buy now button and get one because of how they've acted in the past.

Every time I get behind the wheel of my car all I think is how much more amazing it would be with a tune.

I guess we'll just have to wait it out. Like we have been. It sucks but hopefully they will finally release the tune.

Yesterday was Friday. Had to eat Tuna, which just reminded me: don't have Tuner.
