Seat Stain Prevention

The interior color of my 2013 SE is light beige/cream. Good news it looks great with the Ruby red exterior, bad news the seats stain real easy. Anybody know of any products that I can apply to make the seats more resistant to life with children? Including big kids like me with greasy fingers?

Scotchgard is highly recommended. I don't often get stains, but it is supposed to help make stains easier to clean, and slow down their absorption into the fabric.

Blue Coral DC 22 is a great stain cleaner, though. I had a 3 month old stain, and the Blue Coral got it no problem.

Scotchguard really works well. Buy one can, use up half on fabric. (do not forget sides of doors.
Then after about a week use up second half of can respray. Done.
This should be done OUTDOORS as the spray will make you giddy..

Thanks everyone for the responses. I'll try the Scotchguard. These seats are so light that it is extremely easily to leave a mark--especially if you've been working around the engine. Sometimes you think your hands are clean and dirt/grease on your wrist or arm will catch you. And these light seats are not forgiving. I guess I should have gone with a darker interior, but I wanted a change.
