Which would you choose?

So guys I have a 2013 Ruby Red SE and can decide if I want to add Carbon Fiber Vinyl to the Hood or and Off Center Racing Stripe. Which would you choose and why?

I agree with Cobie, Carbon fiber is over used and rarely done well.. A nicely done and artistic stripe would be good but with Ruby Red will be a challenge to get right.

Why would you want the stripe the same colour as the car?

Ya because of the Ruby Red I guess the only color I could go with would be black.

Either one has been done before and to death so do what makes you happy, you have to live with the car, whether or not some one else feels its part of the new "scene", overdone or too ricey.

Instead of a solid stripe, you could make it dots, diagonal strips in a row to create a stripe. A wavy stripe, a series of barecode lined up to make a stripe.. the word Focus in block letters multiplied into a stripe. or Ford. or whatever floats your boat..
An invisible stripe of clear plastic which glows brightly in ultraviolet

Carbon fiber is overdone but racing stripes are not?

Personally, I wouldn't do either to your nice new car.

Why not put the money towards window tint? Brighter headlamps? Or perhaps wheels or suspension if you plan on doing those...
