Never trust that it should just all be green. You can edit the specs on the machine to make it all green.

Also have to ask why you were having an alignment done. routine or did you hit something?

is there anything in your trunk?

I usually like to set fwd toe in at -.03* on each side, and as near zero as possible on the rear.

Fortunately, due to the design of the rear suspension, if toe is adjusted down to be at zero from your current reading, it will bring your camber in a bit more (become more positive). not by much, but probably enough.

front caster (I'm aware it is not adjustable from the factory) should be a half of a degree more positive on the passenger side to compensate for road crown. caster is not a tire wearing angle though.

Moved to Wheels, Tires, Brakes & Suspension to better help you. The MK3 section is to discuss window tinting, exterior body and lighting upgrades.

OP here, dealer did aligment because they changed front control arms and springs.. as they said they aligned 3 times because after the springs then found one side control arm and then the other side control arm...
drove last night and wasnt bad... but I think it points to the right a bit..

-also noticed car about half-3/4inch higher in the front (wheel gap)... think this could go down as new springs settle?

-maybe I should wait/drive about 500 miles to settle and then go back have them align again after settling?

-well.... I have to go in today anyway though so they fix front wipers... tried to use them last night and both got stuck in the ouward open position -theyre just stuck there dont move anymore-

fun times!
