2007 Motor Mount Part Numbers

I just bought a 2007 SES 4 door hatchback, automatic, 92,000 miles. I'm pretty sure it needs new motor mounts, since it has the same kind of vibration (primarily near idle) that my 2004 automatic had. I replaced the motor mounts on that vehicle and it fixed the vibe issues.

My problem is that I am seeing confusing info about the mounts on the Ford parts site. It seems to indicate and show a different mounting system than on the 2004, but I saw a DIY on a 2007 that showed the same kind of parts as on the 2004. I also entered part numbers from that 2007 DIY, but the Ford site says they are not for this vehicle

Can anyone tell me if the mounting system is the same as the 2004:
- Hydraulic passenger side mount
- Rubber transmission mount under the battery
- "Dogbone" at the aft side of the engine
Or are there some other mounts/isolators ?

If someone had the right part numbers or could help clarify this issue, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Rich

The hydraulic passenger mount is of a different design
Now that is assuming that your 2004 was a Zetec and the 2007 is a Duratec

I do not know about the others

I had the same problem you're having a few months back. Here's a link to a thread with the passenger and driver side motor mounts. I didn't change the dogbone so I don't have that part number.

My Focus is a 2007 as well. I'm pretty sure the mounts are different than the 2002. You can look those part numbers up on ebay to get prices/pics.

Just replaced all three mounts on my 2007 SES. Below is a link to my procedures complete with part numbers and prices. I got the parts from Village Ford, total cost $166 for the three mounts. Took about two hours.

Wow, this is awesome! Thanks for posting it.

I believe the passenger side mount is different for automatics to manuals.

Different part number as well.

Thanks for the replies. I had already seen the "Milton" DIY post with the part numbers, but the Ford parts site shows mounts that I do not recognize (I previously changed all the mount on an 04).

Just as a side comment, the online Ford parts breakdown and listings are really terrible as compared to my past experience with Honda and BMW online parts sources and diagrams.

I think I will call Toulsey or Tasca directly and order these part numbers.

Thanks again.

Cool

I just had the passenger side mount replaced. My mechanic found out that there is a TSB on it. TSB = Recall but you pay for it yourself.

2007 Motor Mount Part Numbers

- my SES is an automatic, 2.0L Duratec
- I got my part numbers by sending a pm to VillageAndy at Village Ford. I sent him my vin, he replied with a quote the same day.

Let Andy look up the parts, he's got the experience.
