Awesome! I haven't seen this thread... I was actually thinking about doing this to mine (minus the euro), but I want to add a switch to disable them at night... I see the problem as I have found it very hard to see my own turn signals sometimes on bright days, but I don't want to blind people at night... Shouldn't be to hard, I already think I know how I should do it, it's more a question of: Do I really want to?

Thanks for the answers! I think I have a pretty good understanding of it now.

Another pretty cool idea I thought of recently after seeing this, how about turning the backup lamps of your tail lights as turn signals? I'm sure you could use the same or similar relay setup for this as well, so they will blink but also can be used as your actual backup lamp at the same time! Kind of a euro tail light look without actually having to buy the lights, huh? Or the extra backup lamp and getting a new bumper/fitting into your bumper!

anything can be made possible. I know their have been many "how to wire up euro tail lights" before on the forum. my first concern though is that rear turn signals have to be red or orange in my jurisdiction and back up lights have to be clear, which makes it contradictorty to have the same lamp do it.
