Is it difficult to remove the valve cover

Is it difficult to remove the valve cover? I have to change out the gasket and I want to paint the cover since it will be off.

it is very simple just be sure to put the bolts in and torque them to the proper amount and with the proper pattern.

The old gasket is going to be stuck really tight. Use a putty knife and work it around.

I agree with everything said above just don't be a tool and put silicone to make the gasket stick! I can't tell you how many times I have seen this done.
