Question My ford touch navigation

I have a 2012 sel with MFT. I was thinking about getting the SD card for onboard navigation but understand that if I don't have factory navigation on the vehicle, the card won't do a thing for me. How can I find out if I have nav in the car? I do know that it has built in GPS. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.....Jim

If you have navigation installed and you don't have a SD card in the socket, a message will popup on the screen telling you so.

Excellent, thanks for that. I definately get the message. Any idea how much the card costs from Ford?

Log in to www.syncmyride.com and check your version of MFT software you have. If you have anything less than 3.5.1 you can download the latest version from them for free and if you sign up for it they will also send you a new SD card for the nav for free (as long as your car is equipped for nav) if your anywhere east of the mississippi you can expect the card to be overnighted. They ship it out of Tennessee somewhere.
