Retro-solutions customer service was really helpful but they billed me twice. I'm trying to get them to fix it but their email based communication is slooowww. I do like their service though.

Update on the order: they settled everything out and I'm getting the parts tomorrow! I can't wait to get my HIDs installed!!

I though that my HID in my fog would be way more blue than that for 10,000k so I changed my mind and I just ordered Purple HID bulb (YES I KNOW they wont be technically "fog" anymore but simply normal driving light, but my fog light are for car shows and style only! we dont have much fog in here.) I dont know which force (in kelvins) they are but on the website they state only "purple"

here is a pic of their bulb color on vvme, that give you an idea of my 6000k vs my current 10,000k in the fog and the future purple bulb.

Finally got mine installed. It was definitely interesting getting it all to work. I don't have DRLs so I didn't have to do any splicing or install a switch. The headlights work well but I'm still getting a dim bulb drop error code and I need to check my placement for the resistors because I'm getting a bad smell in the cabin. Other than that I'm loving the increased visibility at night.

Do you have a relay harness ? Is both of the resistors heating up when your HID are fired up ? (bad smell ? I hope you didnt mount those resistors on any plastics, because that could explain the bad smell)

I've got it all, I'll check to see if both resistors are heating up. They're mounted on metal. I'm gonna dig in to it to see if there's anything melting. The smell seems to be dissipating a bit at least. We'll see what happens.

There you go I received my purple HID bulb today (the bulb is clear, its the color they produce that is purple, i think they are 30,000k) I swapped my 10,000k bulb in my foglight for purple (30,000k I think ?) here is the before and after, ill make a video tomorrow ;)

Before with the 10,000k

After with the purple 30,000k(they appear much more purple in real life than on picture)

With the headlight low beam 6000k lighted up

Inside the car with and without the low beams on

Ill make a video tomorrow on how they light up, tis pretty amazing, they start pure white then they turn blue and then start going light purple to deep purple (all this take arround a full minute from pure white to deep purple.
