ST sales numbers?

Have any sales numbers been seen for the new ST.

I came across some early percentage stats for the UK

Ford UK said they expected the five door hatchback to account for 90 per of UK Focus ST sales. Ford said this week, in reality the estate (wagon) were higher than expected and currently nearly 20 per cent of ST buyers are going the fast load-lugger route. Initially it was forecast that the ST-2 of trim and specification would account for 60 per cent of sales followed by the ST-3 which should appeal to 30-per cent of UK buyers. Ford also said this week, the top ST-3 level is the best selling so far by a long way. So much for a recession.

Of the 9,000 ST per year units for the Euro market, the UK is expected to buy 50% of the batch.

I read a report that here in the US as of 25JAN13 there had been only 750 ST's sold.

I'm not sure I would believe that. One of the dealerships here has had ST's coming and going like revolving doors.
There's a Performance Blue one I see every day on my way to work, there's a Tuxedo Black one I see every Wednesday at Pub Trivia, and there's a Tangerine Scream one that I see coming out of the YMCA parking lot a couple times a week as I'm leaving my office next door to the Y.

Ford was expecting about 8000 the first year but there's a couple on our local lot that have been there for over a month and there's no market adjustment added. If the ST isn't selling like expected then I can't see an RS coming here for a mid $30k pricetag.

Certain markets will sell the cars quicker than others. Its all demopgraphics. Weve been selling out of our st's here and other dealerships have ad them for a month or two.

Midd 30's....ST in Canada is already in the mid 30's.

750 sold IN THE FIRST WEEK since they went on sale August 21st...

So if they continued to sell at least 750 STs a week since the release date, they've sold about 19,500 cars to-date.

I DOUBT they've sold that many every week, but I'm betting that 19k isn't far from the truth.

The number is in the several thousands. The initial buys were pre orders so of course the number was going to be high. Ford was estimating a production run of 8000 units produced for the '13 year so there's no way they've already sold 19k of them (in less than 6 months) of Ford would be jumping up and down about that nuimber and would annouce they'd be bringing the RS over here in a heartbeat.
