Sirius install on Sync 6-speaker system... possible?

I have a Canadian focus SE with the 6-speaker sync system.

Is it possible to install or enable Sirius, or do I have to buy an external XM or sirius radio and wire through the line in?

I have the same question. I've ordered and will receive the 2013 Focus SE with SFE and Winter package. No MFT (just Sync). I noticed the Sirius option is greyed out on SE model without the 201A but wanted to know how I can enable it as the system is obviously capable of it. Aftermarket installation? Firmware upgrade? The dealership told me I had to upgrade to MFT to get it but I think this is dumb.

Hey, guys -

I recommend giving SiriusXM a shout, they'll be able to let you know if your vehicle is Sirius-ready or if an aftermarket add-on is necessary:

You can even chat with them live!

I spoke with both Ford and SiriusXM. Although a vehicle tuner and antenna (ie. SXV200) is the only thing missing from the 200A package on the '13 SE, a reflashing of the as-built data would be necessary with a model that includes 201A. Apparently this will cause problems with the new Ontario drive clean test which matches your OBDII VIN to your physical VIN and trigger an automatic fail/fraud alert. That's what a mechanic friend of mine advised. May not be worth the trouble...
