Having a svt & a 23 motor= why not? That was yrs ago. A zxw w/ plugs for the rear windows= reminds me of a Vega panel w/ a V/8. Or a Pinto Cruising wgn.

If only Ford made the svt hatchback with a performance version of the D23. That would have been sick.

So to reiterate things... I dont need to install my cam gears to install the actual camshafts?

Either aftermarket or oem. You need some cam gears.

I was thinking of sticking with the oem's instead of installing the CFM adjustable gears for my stage 1 crane cams. I have to admit I have no clue what I am doing when it comes to adjusting the cams. lol

You do have a timing bar, correct? Get the motor to tdc for #1. The back of the cams you'll see a offset slot. Turn the motor over till you can fit the bar thru both cams= laying on the head. The int & exh cam lobes of #1 will be pointing towards each other.

Its like a sunroof plug used on track cars....a piece of metal welded in where the windows are between the c and d pillars in the case of a wagon. The first hotrod I fell in love with was a peach colored Nash sedan delivery. I've seen a few PTs and HHRs done up that way as "deliveries" but its not the same.
