Like I said earlier for my 23, There was a noticeable difference, on the power output & the grunt. The crane cams have a lot of mid range grunt & thats what I was looking for. To get the most out of these is= in & out stuff. IDK the spec's of the 20 head vs the 23. I do know the 23 flows better. But the 20 head flows pretty good compared to older 4 valve motors. I'd say for a DD 20 this 224-0010 crane cam set is plenty good. I'd add a intake= cai/sri & a header. Then get a reflash.

That sounds great. More grunt from idle to 6K even would be fine.

You guys are making me seriously consider this. Is there a way to get the tools cheaper than through Massive?

ST= 23 motor. If it didn't have the 23 w/ the torque, I would have bought a svt. I love the svt's, then & I still love them.

I'm with you on that one. I wanted a SVT for the HP but realized for AutoX I needed the torque more. I don't regret my decision, though someday I will own a Comp O ZX5 just to take out on Sundays. :)

Wow, That'd be awesome= a Comp O ZX5. I wasn't thinking of motor swaps when these cars were new at the time. Few yrs later I saw a 23 powered svt.

What was the point of that I wonder. It would have been cheaper to do a front end conversion on a D23 ZX3 or 5 or at least a lot easier. Someday I wouldn't mind a FI ZXW with SVT clip. Make plugs for the rear windows and some loud paint....put it on air......a new school sedan delivery.
