That's a shame. I use the MFT Home button all the time, and a paddle for Sync seems way more in line with the "easy-to-activate hands-free safety" theme the market is going for with heightened voice controls.

I also really don't like that it's asymmetrical. Makes it look like a lower model.

I have MFT so I don't have the right side D-pad anyway, but it'd be even worse with MyFord, considering how much of it you can control just from the right D-pad. I had a few days to play with it in a rental. Some days I wish I had MyFord just because being able to control everything from the wheel is such a great way to do things. With MFT, browsing my music library is way too hard.

I do accidently grab the Sync paddle instead of cruise control on my 2013 from time to time, so I can see this being a bit less messy.

That being said, these paddles really should be used for select shift instead. :D

I've done that before, too. I've had two Toyotas with the cruise control stalk right there.

I'd prefer if the cruise controls were on the right just because of muscle memory, but I understand why Ford would want to keep the driving stuff on the left and the entertainment/info stuff on the right, nearer the center stack.
