Thanks. Sometime before FF I need to paint the whole valance, the drivers side in particular. And I am going to sand down and repaint the endcaps of my SAP spoiler. Another case of not enough prep plus I never clear coated them so they chipped pretty good. I've been fixing them with touchup paint and from a few feet you can't tell but I'm a bit of a perfectionist.

In other notes, never been a Honda fan but I really like how that Si is coming along. I "restored" a Fox Wagen one time and there's definately a certain amount of pride that comes with rolling around in something 20+ years old that still looks great. Awesome job so far!

Get dupli-color paint from your local autoparts store' preferably O'reillys but I don't know if you have one.

They do factory color matched paints and automotive quality. It's what I used on my mirror caps and I started to use on another bumper but never finished.

Put a SRI on the new Civic and put some NGK G-Power plugs in. Trying to find a quiet exhaust, I may just leave the stock one on.

Autozone carries the Duplicolor in TS Silver Frost which is my paimt code and that's what I used last time. It is almost a perfect match and if I had cleared it it would have been exact. From 10ft you can't tell the difference. A great online company for odd or old colors is paintscratch.com . I have used them before too.

Yea autozone employees just don't carry a lick of automotive knowledge.

Ive never been to any other store since oriellys opened last year. The best customers service and knowledgeable employees ever.

I've never really been a huge Honda fan either. But I have always liked the boxy 84-87 Civics and this one has sentimental value. But it sure is turning out to be a lot of work for little reward. LOL.

Traded the Taurus toward the Civic, I got tired of driving being a complete bore (not to downplay how awesome that car was as far as reliability). They gave me $900 for it, only paid $1000 when I bought it.
