Haven't posted anything in a while. The Honda is making slow progress, aided by the junkyard.

Have gone from this:

To this:

Still looks like crap, but different crap. I bagged that bumper, fender, and driver's door from the junkyard and some Honda guys from the Red Pepper forums happened to be there, and surprised I wanted the parts, but those parts are nicer (even with a hole and crazed paint on the fender) than what was on the car. Off the same car I also got a vintage PaceSetter CARB-legal header. It's dented and rusty but I figure some day I can have a muffler shop fix it up. You can't get headers for this car anymore.

Got a mint set of 15x6 mesh wheels for the Neon this weekend. Off a 1991 Plymouth Acclaim in the junkyard. No rash, perfect paint and clear coat. Should be interesting with some beefy summer rubber on em

Those do look mint.

The whole thanksgiving 4 day vacation was spent swapping subframes between cars. So worth it though because of the engine. I also painted the engine bay.

Chased down a rattle in my dash to my Pioneer deck. Took it apart, tightened a few screws on the green boards, taped some 1/2" duck tape strips around the casing and removed the white security tag from behind the plastic cover that the face plate attaches to. So nice not to have that aggravating rattle at 2500 rpms. Also took off my rear passenger shock, cleaned and remounted it to try to remove squeak. Haven't heard anything yet but we'll see. And velcro'd my hatch floor cover down.
