Took a personal day off work so I could catch UPS (don't worry it's a paid day). While I was waiting I removed my SRI and put the stock airbox back on.

Goodbye

Well hello

And then I finally heard the lovely rumble of a delivery truck...

Stock box looks much better. I doubt the intake did much on a Y8 anyway.

Gave up on trying to troubleshoot and fix my black 01 zx3 fuel issues. Its pissing me off and I'm done with it. I will be removing the stuff I like putting it on my 05 red zx3 and selling it. Im just done. I've replaced the fuel pump 4 times in 3 weeks. It's cranking now but not firing. After having changed the fuel pump assembly it ran for a day then died. So I got a replacement and it said F off it doesnt wanna run. I dont know anymore. The fpdm is good the inertia switch is good power is good to all fuel components but nothing so im just done!

Is fuel making it to the injectors? A clogged line will kill a pump pretty quick.

It did more harm than good. It really bogged the car down in the low end. I may try a PasswordJDM power chamber or Comptech Icebox in the future. I really want to stay away from CAI, the amount of water I went through today alone would have been a very bad thing.

Focused on the suspension right now, though.

Nope. I removed hose from fuel rail and nothing pumps not turning on for some reason. But my fuel level gauge is working I have a code p1237 which is secondary fuel pump curcuit malfunction but I dont have time nor the proper disagnostic tools to check all grounds and wiring go too and from. Nor the patience anymore. The only thing I haven't checked would be the sensor attached to the fuel rail. But everything else besides grounds have been checked.

my old integra had the stock airbox it was a D16A1 the box design had a air inlet tube which pulled in air from the driver side head light ran down in front of the raditor then into the air box. Which I though was a very stupid design. I hacked the tube off cut stock air box and made a tube that pulled in air directly between the passenger head light and raditor. Making a home made "ram air". I think it helped the car out so much more. Never had a problem with water either.

I was hoping I had a pic of the whole engine bay, but not on digital. I've lost a lot of pics over the years.
