going to be purchasing new 2013 ford focus st! base or st2?
im looking to buy a new 2013 ford focus st at the beginning of may. is the st2 worth the extra few grand? i have test drove the st2 and i fit in it surprisingly comfortably with the recaro seats. btw im 6'5 260 lbs. is anyone close to my size that find the seats nice even after sitting in them awhile? and how much better is the sony sound system over the base sound system? i have not been able to test a base st only the st2. thanks for all the help in advance!

I love my ST2. I had an SE with sync, which is the same sound system and similar seats to the st1, and the Sony sound and recaros are leaps and bounds better IMO. It was worth the extra cost to me.

The ST2 has MFT vs sync with myford, so the ST2 has 10 speakers vs 6, etc. The ST1 is a SE with some titanium features and the blown engine. Woot.

I have a ST2, I was previously driving a '12 Ti, so I was set on getting the MFT/Sony system. We also have a SEL with just Sync, I totally enjoy all the MFT features and think it is worth the extra cash. I'm 6'1 220ish and the seats are great, I don't even notice them anymore, seem to be softening up and very comfy. You will get better support to your questions and no ST bashing over at FocusST.org

Is st bashing bad around here? I haven't noticed but I don't have an st. More support for the regular mk3 would be nice. I guess some are bitter
