It's clearly my neighbor, who also drives a focus. Nice dent, silver paint left behind. Was parked obscenely close to me today. I confronted him, he denied. What can you do, it's my word against his really.

Funny thing is I washed the car last night and distinctly remember there being no dent there. Parked it, no one was beside me and our lot is access controlled. This morning there's a nice big dent.

What can't people just own up? Scumbags.
Dent his shit! That's what I'd do

YEP. And as Elizabeth pointed out, if he is bad enough to deny an obvious fault, he Will damage your car more if his is damaged. Don't give him any excuse.

I got it! Dent the other door that is away from your car. That way he can't blame fault at you due to not having his car parked on that sound. Revenge of revenge averted.

On the contrary, I think it looks pretty bad. I would be livid.

I am pretty pissed, I hit up the local body shop.

They're going to try to PDR it but the body shop guy told me since it's in the crease it will be tough to fix. He said the best he can guarantee is a 50% improvement. It's about 80 bucks so I figured I'd try it and see.

Alternatively he told me it'd be about 450 to get it gone 100%.

As for the revenge, man has it ever crossed my mind. There are only 3 of us who park back there since there's only 4 units in my building and one is vacant. The other car is owned by an old guy who always parks miles away from me because he needs room on both sides to get in and out with his walker.

I thought about getting video footage from the car wash to concretely show there was no dent before I got home.

I guess I am just a bit old school. It's happened before that I've dinged someones car accidentally and I left a note. It cost me some money but whatever.

Thing is I always park far away too, but the lot behind my building only has 4 spots and I leave the closest one for the senior who lives beside me. It leaves 3 spots. I1I2I3I. I always park in 3, the furthest from my building, and for some reason this dbag chose the one beside me even though there's a free one closer to the building.
