Ya just check his car. If he has a dent, scratch, or missing paint in the area where his car would have met yours then file a police report.

I tried to check at lunch, it looks like he probably just slammed his door into mine, there's a chip on the lip of his driver door. I put a pic that doesn't look ridiculous. My bad for the earlier pic.

I work with a lot of police, they all said they won't bother with anything unless the damage is over $1000.00. It's just my loss it seems. I could sue him in small claims, but it's impossible to prove, and if I lose I'm out costs.

I'm heading to a body shop after work to get a quote on having it PDR'd. We shall see. It doesn't look like much in the photo but it's still a pissoff.

So, most likely on the side of his door (where the body meets the door).

Wait were you keyed?

I'm not usually a vindictive or violent person but in this case perhaps karma is in order... this has happened to me before w/ another car... it's these s who can't drive/park and they're like frickin lemmings..... no matter how far away u park w/ no one for a long way near you, they gotta park right next to you....
perhaps you will slip accidently on ice and slam your boot into the soft underbelly of HIS door?

park closer to him so he has to go through other door for entry next time

or

have a friend over, park so close to him that he cannot open door and have friend park on other side like this as well. The leave cars there for a couple days

or

park a couch between the two cars to provide enough room between

or

hire some large birds to crap on his car all day long

or

drop a deuce in his car during the summer time (think "Alpha Dogs")

or

the list goes on and on..........

but that just sucks that he would do that crap and try to play it off. He knows he is the bastard that did that

You must come from the part of town where people take ownership for their accidents. Doesn't really work that way with most.. See I park my car the furhest away from others, and even try to get an end. OR Just park next to an expensive car. Way less of a chance of hurting your car. I am just counting down the days until someone does that exact thing to my car..

Any attempt to get revenge may backfire. Some people have a bizarre sense of one upsmanship, and they may be willing to carry it far past any sane position to get even. So if the op does something to 'get even' the other party may carry if far past any reasonable boundary, including murder.
So a thought about it if you plan on starting a war with an insane person.
Once you get into it with one.. it is really hard to call 'time out'.
Just saying.
You actually DO NOT KNOW how far the other person will carry it. So i would just move.

Getting revenge is NOT karma. That's just being as big of a d!ck as the other person. Karma runs her own course.
