What about a Lincoln aviator pump, or ford gr pump? Both are rated higher than 255lph and they are variable voltage.... Wouldn't they work as direct upgrades with some simple modifications?

An SVT pump and a BAP have been taken to 450, if you do not have an SVT (green top) pump I would consider a return set up.

The GT as Ford GT will work, not the mustang, but is not cost effective, for the price you can do a complete return fuel. What pump do you have? Also there is a lot of info in a couple of threads in this page, don't waste your money in the head, maybe cams but that's about it, a good intake manifold will be better. Don't know if it has been mentioned before but Tim (turbo turtle) will start making kits for our cars.

I'm doing my own kit*Cheaper when you cut out the middle man*. I can easily piece together a 450hp turbo kit for under 2000$ +tuning. And since most kits include a lot of support mods like injectors and such which I have no need for since I already have certain pieces it's just easier for me to complete my current list and just by misc parts and install myself. I will be using Tom for tuning so I'm sure we can hit 350-400hp. I have an 02 Svt so I'm not sure if its green top or not. From what I read the green tops came out in 03-04svt.

have you thought about using Topspeeds fuel tank hanger for a walbro pump? You can use the stock tank but it hangs a single or dual walbro pumps in it and wire it up return-style. No need for a fuel cell or relocation.

Have attached a link to my build thread I have done a lot of to what you’re looking to build.

http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/showthread.php?t=303565

My advice to you would be to build a motor (depending on your budget believe me it will be way more than you think). Second lower your HP goals if you haven’t driven a FWD turbo car with more than 250whp you’ll be surprised how quick it is, yet still nicely drivable. (I know guys that have built and driven 350+ whp Mazda 3’s they dubbed that car the Tree Seeking Missile. ) If you build the motor and you get board with 250 then you can always add more post. Be careful with you turbo selection, smaller will give you better dally drivability bigger can start to get a bit lagy but get you the hp your looking for. If you want to ride in a pretty nice turbo street car or bigger power track car let me know. My turbo svt will be finished next Friday, and I have my 07 st (for now I may sell that one soon).

The helmet has a special meaning for many drivers. How important is it to you? - It protects my head.

Do you have any special rituals when the helmet is concerned like many have? - I wipe it so that I can see better.

Yes but the problem with the walbaros is that they can get damaged when the fuel tank goes below 1/2 tank

No point in building the motor for 250hp.... I can leave it 100% stock engine and hit 300hp which has been done repeatedly per tons time and turbo kit. :(
