tapping to windage tray or oil pan will both work just fine. the size of the line and fitting angles out of the turbo is what usually affects oil drain

good luck with your turbo problems. sucks to see you are having trouble

Sorry lol, I'm currently away on military deployment so there isn't much to update on. The turbo was indeed the culprit! Seems that comp turbo was suppose to include an additional restrictor to lower the oil pressure going to the turbo and they did not so it blew out the exhaust side main seals. I had the turbo sent in and received it back with a brand new exhaust side housing and seals with the adapter restrictor. I had my dad reconnect the turbo and other crap I took off and from what he's telling me there is no longer smoke coming out of the exhaust and the smell of burning oil is gone!

I will not have any updates till I return to the US some time in late 2014.

Some minor updates:

I decided to finally order my exhaust so I went with TruBendz 3" with a borla muffler and vibrant resonator to keep the noise down. I'm still debating on using my KBBAP or just going fuel cell to max out the turbo...

Any new info on return systems or is fuel cell still the only way to push over 350hp?

For some reason when me and Tom were datalogging my fuel pressure dropped pretty low in 4th gear... Like 20psi low. Anyone else ever have that problem? I can't be the fuel filter but could possibly be the fuel pump, anyone replace there svt pump and at what mileage did you do it?


Looking to be home by May to complete this bad boy and turn up the turbo!
