Angry Carwashing: the best weather controller ever devised!

I just thought it would be fun to start a thread and see how many people besides me can go out on a day without a cloud in the sky, wash and wax, and within a couple hours there's a major thunderstorm ruining all your hard work. Just for fun (and venting your frustration, which can be healthy when done with humor) post up if this happens to you as it did me today.

Back when i was into sailing (and windsurfing), I made a point in the morning of raking the entire yard by hand.

Guaranteed that the wind that day was going to be good.

I do not worry about it.
Lucky for me where I live I can wash my car (if i want) in the heated indoor/under building parking area.(two areas, about 50 cars)
With snow possible from Thanksgiving until March 15 (in general) it is nice to have a dry/warm place to keep my car.
Best is when a 'snow emergency' and no car allowed on many streets at all.

I never bother to do any 'full wash' I just rinse the car off with the hose and run a California Blade across it. Once in awhile I will wipe off the wheels (I have black painted 17's.)

My last car, after 13 years, i would only run a paper towel over the hood after a rain.. That was it. Once in awhile the sides..

All the time. In fact, I once went to the car wash while it was snowing and it stopped by the time I was done.

Take that Mother Nature! Reverse psychology, bitch!

Yea I've been trying to wash my car for the last month. I wake for work and find it's in the high 40s lower 50s perfect weather for around here. But if I stop to wash car ill be late to work. so I say to myself ill do it after work or it still be warm tomorrow so ill get up early to do it then.

I get off work to find its -5 and its has a 1 inch or more on the ground.

Yes, we've helped out a few sailors around this place, as well. Five Oak trees, 3 different kinds (Live Oaks, Water Oak, White Oaks). There's always raking to be done. As a matter of fact, the trees are another source of needing to wash the cars.

hope I didn't cross the line if anyone felt offended lol. Just being funny.

I'm afraid to wash my car sometimes. I've broken my only key in my lock before.
