Warranty Issue.

Seems on the forum, warranty is hit or miss depending on the dealership. I recently installed a sub woofer on my car, tapped into the external 8 inch sub that came in stock. (Didn't have to cut any wires woohoo!) My auto down windows up in front have stopped working, but the rear's still work. The windows still roll down, and I haven't seen any blown fuses, nor do I know exactly where they would be. Manual doesn't give to much information on the what the fuses protect. I was going to take this into a warranty claim, would my external sub hamper my warranty claim? I am thinking it is best to just get rid of the battery wire, then rewire it again.

With your past experiences, have you had problems with the warranty having an external sub wired into the car?

Try reseting your one touch windows by pushing the button in to roll down and holding the button for 10 seconds, then push the button up to roll them up and hold the button for 10 seconds. Do this for all windows that need to be reset.

Wonderful! That worked. Now I don't have to worry about going into the dealership for something very easy to fix. Now I have to worry about getting my oil filter off..

I am aware. The filter is just "Stuck" when I had my free oil change it looks like oil wasn't put on the rubber seal. -__-

If you got another oil change at the dealer they will get it off. Otherwise just keep trying. Or stab a screw driver horizontally through the filter and twist. Haha. Only in the worst cases have I heard of people doing that.

Yeah...I MIGHT have to do the screw driver thing. If only I could get good leverage then it would pop right off. Idk guess I will see what I have to resort to. I actually might jack it up tonight and give it another whirl.

I always used my big set of channel lock pliers on filters.
