Question Where can I purchase parts needed for Brake Swap?

Searched Google a bit, looked at CFM, FSWerks and a few others like BAT.

But I can't find a single place where I can purchase the parts needed to do a Rear Brake Conversion to my 06' Focus SES w/ ABS

Any ideas? Did I miss something?

And what about the Ford Parts site? What part numbers would they be and off of what year specifically the information I read in this thread was slightly confusing.

http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/s...ad.php?t=82136

It says

"05......all 05 cars had the same spindles
06......all 06 cars had the same spindles"

and then states

"5. To do an SVT swap on an 06, you must change spindles, struts, springs, and lower control arms"

But, where I'm confused on is which year do I grab SVT spindles from?

Thanks,

Tochi

The rear brake caliper brackets have been discontinued by Ford.
Used take-off sets come up for sale here frequently.

All SVT front spindles are the same, '05 anything is good too, there are ball joint changes though that's why the lower control arms need to be swapped at the same time. The Struts also changed diameter.

Bah, I really wanted to do this one before the rainy season.

Think I should post up a request for parts?

Having a '06 foci= you can get the svt front brake kit= bigger calipers/rotors that bolt right on your '06 spindle's. For the rear= Look for any '05-'07 ST's= 10'' rear disc's.

I'm surprised we don't have a fabricator on this site that can make them

TCE's rotors/brackets

Have you seen the caliper brackets? Its not just a bracket, it also has to provide the caliper to slide also. TCE has mounts that space the caliper & bracket up & over to clear 11.75'' wilwood rotors. You w/ find the 10'' caliper brackets work better then the svt ones, as won't have to clearence the 10'' set.
