They should be enforcing the IMPORTANT laws. Like murder, drug dealers and such. Not messing with kids and their cool cars the kids trick out. The cops have been messing with kids in their cars since kids started driving cars.

So,some laws are important and others aren't;interesting way to look at things. hehe Cops don't make the laws and just enforce them and sometimes they are instructed to amp up revenue so they do go after ticky-tack stuff. So how do you define a "kids car" vs an enthusiasts car? Just because one is a young person doesn't mean your car has to scream it.

Using that logic they should still be arresting people in 14 of the United States for getting undressed in front of a photograph of a person of the opposite sex.....what I mean by a kids car is USUALLY the drivers of modded cars are under the age of 25, and it is unusual they are as old as say....me. And you can't think the police don't target younger people for auto violations both moving and other.

They target youth period not just for cars and it's the way the world is when most cops are older and were once young and remeber how it is and when it comes to auto violations younger people are most likely to bend the laws.
I don't see how cops target a car by age since I don't see my age posted on my car anywhere. I drive an STI and I've driven a Integra Type R and a 400hp stickered up Eclipse and the only time I was ever hassled I was usually asking for it and my age was never a factor in being pulled over.

Actually most people with modded fast cars are people OLDER than 25 unless you think us older cars guys just stop at a certain point there's more of us then there is of you and I've been in the sport compact/drag racing scene longer than people 25 have been alive so that logic is silly.

I have been a hot rodder in CA for a couple decades, and the only people that I have known to get a ticket for exhaust were asking for it, driving stupid, then acting like jerks when finally pulled over. At that point, yes, the cops will write you up whatever they can.

Where did you get those statistics? And back on topic, I think the side pipe sounds cool but looks a little unfinished.
