The Feds care and in most states the exhaust can exit to the side if the the car has sealed rear windows but with 4 doors with roll down rear windows a side exhaust won't pass inpsection. It's another law to protect ourselves from ourselves.

ha speaking of maine, ive been pulled over multiple times just because of my exhaust, but i guess a 3" exhaust will do that lol. there all dicks thinking that they can do whatever they want when they want, f-ing cops
