That looks amazing! loving the functionality! I'm definitely in for one. Did you say about possibly matching body color?

Thanks.

With regard to color. For this first run, we probably cannot change color without breaking bank (basically we need an order of 1000 trays of a color to make it work, and non-standard colors have an additional fee.)

With that note, the supplier has stated that these are the standard color options (we can only go with one color unless it's a large quantity): light grey, dark grey, and black. You'd probably vote for light grey I take it?

After looking at your test unit I like it better than the factory one. You mentioned the possibility of having provisions to remove entire corner if needed. I would rather see a knockout for a U shaped notch about .25" wide and about .5" deep. I would still take one as is, I can always dremel out a notch if needed. Since my car is a Ti with black leather interior, either dark gray or black is fine by me.

If interested I'd prefer either black to match the usb/ media panel or a tan color to match the interior of the car, but that wasn't listed.

It does seem to completely cover the USB/ aux cable ports though.

Thanks for the quick response, The color did not matter to me much but I would probably just ended up getting black anyways since it would match my interior. Still loving it! I definitely want this! I need a place for my phone/wallet that isnt the cupholder!

The Center Console:

What's this? A new home for our tray?

Let's put the wallet in there, it's not comfortable sitting on it for long drives.

Time to close it up.

So neat and tidy!

Oh I put my keys in there too.

Easy to remove, just pull it out.

For my American friends, a comparison of our quarters.

This was the usb stick that was stuck in the console when I installed the tray. Gives you an idea of the clearance.

I over-designed, whoops. Looks like tab at the back is not needed!

AND an important note to everyone who wants "access to usb". I am planning to have a small cutout at the back of the tray (the thin area) for you to thread your usb cable through. But if you want to have the whole corner open, I will add an option to help you cut off that corner. Whew, looks pretty OEM, eh?
does it fit the SE Console also ?

If your SE has the side by side cup holders sure, but the fore-aft ones probably not given thats a smaller console afaik.

An example of what I mean when I say the corner can be "removed". This will be permanent. There will be guide lines on the bottom face of the tray and you use a knife to cut it. (Maybe it can be snapped out, I'll have to check with the supplier.)

Zoomed In:

(Please use this as reference only, final cut-out will look nicer, just a concept.)

Sorry as Suss mentioned, it won't be compatible with all SE model (only some will be compatible, I'd advise you to take a look at the posted photos and determine if you have a similar console set up). Maybe it can be a future project :P.
